Chipmonk started as an idea, a dream even, to create the most horrendous sounding music ever heard by man. Once the dream was in place 3 friends headed to a garage deep within the confines of "The Villas" armed with a 4 track recorder, some Radioshack microphones, an out of tune guitar, a broken drum set, and a nasty attitude. What took place that night was magical and soon grew into a Frankenstein-like monstrosity that was destined to take over the Cape May county area of New Jersey.

This music is improvisational, not even a key was chosen (we wouldn't have known what to do if a key WAS chosen). The "musicians" are playing instruments that they don't know how to play, literally. Every track was recorded live in 1 take without any care taken for sound quality. Song topics were chosen purely based on how offensive the topic could be.

We aim to attack EVERYONE'S sensibilities. If you're offended by what we do please let us know so that we can laugh at our achievement.
